comfy bed powerful shower delicious steak staff shortage tough beef crispy potatoes
The hotel had a super comfy bed. i slept so well! the shower was also powerful, so i felt really refreshed after using it. breakfast was very good. It included a steak night option, delicious.
the staff seemed a little short. there was a sign that said 'no walk ins due to staff shortages. ' the sunday roast i had was not great! the beef was tough. the potatoes were not crispy.

The location was acceptable.
I am not a firm believer in a service charge added to my bill. The Lamb Inn must take serious note that its 10% discretionary service charge awareness is missing from their menu.

warm reception helpful staff efficient service
the staff provided a warm welcome at check-in they were also very helpful at the bar during meal service and breakfast the reception felt personal and made us feel valued as guests i found the staff to be friendly and efficient ensuring i had everything i needed the service was perfect from start to finish.
i noticed a slight delay in receiving fresh towels one morning, a minor inconvenience.

the hotel benefits from a central position close to local attractions i found walking to nearby shops and historical sites easy from the hotel it is perfect for exploring without needing a car.

the team accommodated all requests promptly including a late-night snack and additional pillows i found their readiness to assist particularly heartwarming i also felt appreciated due to the staff offering personalized tips.

excellent stay!
cooked breakfasts helpful staff lovely furnishings
the food was AMAZING!!! i particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfasts. the staff member was very helpful and moved our bags to the new room. furnishings throughout the hotel were lovely.

I found the room to be well-stocked. it included tea, coffee and biscuits. there was also a nespresso machine. breakfast was good. I found the food to be ample.
the room i had was small. there was no room to unpack my suitcase properly. the closet had items from the hotel stored randomly, it was messy.

quaint charm!
convenient parking relaxing garden
the location was fantastic with convenient parking at the sister hotel. i enjoyed the powerful shower and the provided molton brown toiletries. a well-stocked tea, coffee, and biscuit tray was a nice touch. the beautiful garden with large tables and umbrellas offered a relaxing space.
The breakfast service could improve. The young staff seemed to lack direction. they were slow to clear tables and made errors with orders. more experienced supervision might enhance the dining experience.
